Eragen is a software application whose purpose is to help creators, marketers, and teams edit videos with conversational AI and publish or schedule those videos to social platforms they own — including YouTube via Google OAuth.
Core functionality includes: uploading and indexing video footage; AI-assisted editing (cuts, captions, pacing, music); previewing edits; organizing content for campaigns; connecting your own social accounts; and publishing or scheduling posts with platform-native settings.
How Eragen uses Google user data
- YouTube publishing: when you connect a YouTube channel, we use Google OAuth access to upload and schedule videos you choose to publish to that channel.
- Channel identification: we read basic channel / profile information so we can show the correct account in your dashboard and attribute publications correctly.
- Analytics (optional): if you connect analytics scopes, we display performance metrics for videos you published through Eragen.
- Limited use: Google user data is used only to provide these features. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. You can disconnect Google / YouTube at any time from Social Accounts.

Do I post to my own social accounts?+
Yes. You connect your own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook accounts via official OAuth. Eragen never posts on accounts you do not own.
Why does Eragen request Google / YouTube access?+
So you can publish and schedule videos to your own YouTube channel, read basic channel info needed for publishing, and view performance analytics you choose to connect. We only use Google user data to provide these features — never to sell data or post without your action.
